Elaine Vullmahn - Associate
Biography
Elaine Vullmahn is an associate at Williams Montgomery & John Ltd. and a member of the firm's commercial litigation and professional liability practice groups. She focuses her practice on complex matters involving business disputes, broker-dealer securities, white-collar crime, and accounting malpractice.
Ms. Vullmahn received B.S. degrees in Accounting and Finance and a Certificate in International Business in 2003 from Indiana University. She received an M.B.A. in 2007 from Purdue University.
She received her J.D. in 2011 from The John Marshall Law School, where she served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Computer & Information Law as a Production Editor and then Solicitation Editor. She also served on the Executive Board of Phi Delta Phi and was a recipient of the CALI Excellence Award for Top Grade in Remedies.
Ms. Vullmahn holds multiple professional credentials, including:
- Certified Fraud Examiner (2011)
- Certified Public Accountant; Illinois Registered Certified (2010) and Licensed (2006)
- Certified Internal Auditor (2009)
Ms. Vullmahn was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2011, the Indiana Bar in 2012 and was also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Ms. Vullmahn is active in various professional and civic organizations, including:

Ms. Vullmahn has developed and presented lectures on topics relating to accounting, auditing, professional ethics, and general litigation. Ms. Vullmahn was published in two law review journals while attending law school. In addition, she has co-authored multiple accounting, auditing, and regulatory related articles.
