Biography

 

Elizabeth Collins is an associate at Williams Montgomery & John Ltd. and is a member of the firm’s antitrust practice group.  Ms. Collins’ practice focuses on commercial litigation and antitrust matters.  Ms. Collins joined the firm in 2018.  Prior to joining Williams Montgomery & John Ltd., Ms. Collins practiced antitrust, commercial, and real estate litigation. 

 

Education/Bar Admissions
 
Ms. Collins earned her law degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, graduating Cum Laude in 2013.  She was admitted to the Ohio bar in 2013.  While in law school, Ms. Collins was the executive editor for the Journal of Law and Health and was a member of the Moot Court team, where she individually earned third best oral advocate and her team won first place brief at the National Moot Court competition.  Ms. Collins also served as an intern for Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor of the Supreme Court of Ohio and as an extern for Judge Patricia A. Gaughan of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.  Prior to law school, Ms. Collins attended Ohio Wesleyan University and obtained a B.A. in political science and pre-law. 
 

Professional Activities


Ms. Collins is a member of the Federal Bar Association and the Irish American Law Society of Cleveland.  She served on the Board for the Federal Bar Association, Northern District of Ohio chapter as a co-chair of the Younger Lawyers Division and helped to pilot a national mentorship program.  Ms. Collins was also appointed as a reader by the Supreme Court of Ohio and graded a question from the Ohio Bar Exam for several years.  Most recently, Ms. Collins was a recipient of the Irish Rising Stars award from the Irish Legal 100 and has also been named as a Delegate for the Judicial Conference for the Sixth Judicial Circuit.
