Anndra Masters has first-chaired 23 trials to verdict and also second and third-chaired several other trials to verdict. Her practice areas include commercial litigation, product liability, construction, class action and MDL litigation. Ms. Masters served as a judicial extern for the Hon. William J. Bauer of the United States Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals for two semesters while she was a student at DePaul University College of Law. She has also lectured on various legal topics. In addition, she is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association's Entertainment Committee and can be seen each winter performing in the Annual Christmas Spirits Show.

Representative Cases:
Tuchman v. McNichols, Cook County, Illinois. Negotiated favorable settlement on behalf of defendant driver of an automobile who struck a four-year-old girl while driving on a residential street. Four-year-old suffers from alleged skull fracture, broken arm, permanent facial scarring and neurological damage.
Baltzel v. R. & R. Trucking, U.S.D.C. Southern District of Illinois. Represent third-party defendant employer in litigation involving a construction accident. Verdict in favor of plaintiff in the amount of $14 million against defendant. Remaining issue as to whether the employer (third-party defendant) may waive its unpaid future workers' compensation obligation of $4 mil after the verdict was entered where the Illinois Industrial Commission has not made a determination as to the amount of the employer's future liability. Currently pending.
Nix v. Turner Barton, Cook County, Illinois. Summary judgment for client defendants, The Chicago Bears Football Club and Chicago Bears Stadium, LLC, which hired a construction company for the stadium project that was allegedly known to be racist. One of the construction workers of the construction crew allegedly battered plaintiff, who was on-site as a construction worker.
Kedziora v. France, Cook County, Illinois. Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of the defendant truck driver involved in a motor vehicle collision. Plaintiff asked the jury for $1.8 million. Plaintiff sustained a closed head injury with permanent residual right side hemiparesis and foot drop, was comatose for 10 days following occurrence, sustained fractures to her right clavicle and ribs, orbital bone, and nose; numerous full-thickness facial lacerations, multiple plastic surgeries to correct injuries to nose and lip, internal derangement of knee and elbow, pneumothorax, lacerated liver, and kidney failure necessitating dialysis.
Condell Medical Center v. Artrip, Lake County, Illinois. Negotiated settlement and dismissal with prejudice of lawsuit for the cost of subpoenas issued to client, a non-party, after a three-month-old judgment order was entered against client.
Acala v.Emhart Industries,Inc., U.S.D.C., Northern District of Illinois. Obtained defense verdict on behalf of a leather-splitting machine manufacturer which severed plaintiff’s arm below the elbow. Plaintiff asked the jury for $1.7 million.
Bottos v. Winters, Lake County, Illinois. Summary judgment obtained on behalf of defendants, owner of the property where plaintiff slipped on ice and broke her elbow.
