He has written and lectured on accountants liability and, during law school, handled professional liability claims made against accountants and attorneys for an insurance company. KONE, Inc. v. Drives, Inc. (Rock Island County, Illinois 02 L 0016) Part of trial team that obtained $2 million verdict for plaintiff against manufacturer/supplier of defective component parts of escalators.
David Molnar v. Conseco Medical Insurance Company, 358 Ill. App. 3d 418 (1st Dist. 2005) – Appellate victory for defendant in contract dispute over insurance coverage for $140,000 in medical expenses in light of policy exclusion.
