Williams Montgomery & John Ltd. Secures an $85,000,000 Settlement in a False Claims Act Case

C. Barry Montgomery and Edward R. Moor worked with co-counsel to secure one of the largest settlements in history on behalf of the U.S. in a False Claims Act case where the U.S. declined to intervene and take the case over.  Working without the assistance of the Department of Justice, the case was settled after being litigated for less than a year after the complaint was unsealed and made public.  To read the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin report on the case, please click here.
